AIE has been offered this exceptional opportunity for someone to begin their career as a production assistant at Plastic Wax; one of Australia’s leading award winning CG houses, specialising in premium CG content for the videogame and film industries.Located at a waterfront studio on the Parramatta River Plastic Wax is keen to hear from you if you:

  • are an Animator (Maya, 3D Max)
  • enjoy planning and organising
  • have strong communication skills, particularly verbal and written language
  • able to learn new skills quickly
  • high levels of self-motivation and confidence in meeting challenges

oh and…have a passion for games!!!!!!!!

The Assistant (or Junior) Producer works with a game’s production staff to ensure the timely delivery of the highest quality product possible.

Typically, they will focus on specific areas of the development process. This could involve handling the communications between the publisher and developer, or co-ordinating work on some of the project’s key processes such as managing the outsourcing of art assets.
