Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Complete assigned projects in a timely and high quality fashion
 Actively contribute to the ongoing software design and development process of the studio and department.
 Assist in the development of any technical strategies as required.
 Write clear, well-commented code and verify that completed code performs as expected and the design is fully implemented.
 Review all completed tasks with quality, consistency and performance in mind.
 Demonstrate a solid understanding of the platform hardware, libraries, development environment, tools, and utilities.
 Maintain understanding of competitive products and technology.
 Understand the production process and its many dependencies.
 Takes initiative and is accountable for the timely completion and high quality of all assigned tasks.

Qualification Requirements:
Training and/or Experience:
 Minimum 2+ years’ experience within a studio environment
 Demonstrated experience with build automation, continuous integration, unit test, change management and configuration management
 Demonstrated experience with agile software methodologies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 Proficient in programming language C# / C++
 Working knowledge of Unity
 Experience of Software Development Lifecycle
 Scripting experience
 Client/server architecture
 Windows development
 Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Desirable Criteria:
 An interest in some type of gaming (cards, table games, board games,etc.)
 Experience in Unit design and testing
Education:
 A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering

Job Title: Technical Artist

Job Summary: The Technical Artist serves as a translator between art and engineering, working closely with the game studio artists and engineers to ensure that the player-facing vision for the game is achieved. Other duties include managing and improving the content creation pipeline, coaching game artists on asset implementation, and staying current on game industry tools and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Implement art assets in Unity.
 Identify and solve technical issues related to the art pipeline.
 Provide artists with technical feedback to ensure the creation of optimized assets.
 Document and evangelize best practices.
 Suggest (or create) tools and scripts to optimize Unity workflow.

Training and/or Experience:
 1-5 years game development studio experience
 Working knowledge of Unity, Unreal, or equivalent game engine – essential
 Working knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics (After Effects and 3DsMax, or equivalent).
 Familiar with versioning software i.e. Perforce (Preferred), CVS, Alien Brain or similar.
 Experience creating motion graphics or animations (must have samples).
 Experience working under tight deadlines.
 Familiar with particle systems (Unity or equivalent).
 Exposure to scripting languages such as C#, JS, MEL, or Python.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 Excellent organizational skills.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Proficient in Photoshop, and After Effects.
 Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
 Familiarity with 3D Studio Max (3DSMAX) or other 3D software.
 Understanding of UI / UX principles across various platforms.
 Self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects with minimal direction.
 Experience playing video games, slot games.
