Bond University and Industry partner Spatial Media were successful in obtaining a round 5 Advanced Queensland Knowledge Transfer Partnership grant and we are looking to short list several talented candidates for interview that meet the following position description and requirements.The specific project will focus on the research and development of a community engagement simulation  framework through the use of Higher Dimensional Media (HDM) technologies. The aim of this framework is to simulate infrastructure noise and its  subsequent impact on stakeholders (i.e. governments, developers and the  community).

The ideal candidate would have experience in programming Unity3d C# or JavaScript, 3D modelling, website and graphic design and emerging technology visualisation (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality). They would be self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision. They would be creative problems solvers, able to apply research to a commercial output.

To be eligible for the KTP program the graduate must:

  • be a recent graduate with Honours, or a Masters or a PhD graduate from a Queensland based university (AQ8 level or higher)
  • have achieved the above qualification within the last two years
  • be able to work for a 12 month period
  • be an Australian citizen
  • be assessed by the university and business to have the necessary skills that match the requirements of the project
