Cog Studio is an independent games developer based in Queensland. Our current work is focussed on creating engaging, educational games for commercial clients.
Cog Studio is seeking a talented 3D artist for our current project, on a negotiable contractor basis. We are interested in sourcing high quality talent for this project, we are seeking someone who is experienced creating and implementing 3D environment and prop art into our Unity project.
The project is a stylised educational Gear VR game.
We are looking for a motivated, autonomous and talented 3D artist to work on a contractor basis, to produce:
• Basic Concepting
• Texturing in project’s style (Hand-painted/Cartoon/Simple)
• Low poly mobile ready environment and prop assets
• Experienced user of Unity, 3Ds Max and Photoshop
• Worked on mobile and or Gear VR game development
• Take direction
• Work autonomously
• Must have own equipment. Own licences preferred.
Game development has already begun and we require someone who can start immediately. We estimate that there are between 1-2 months of full-time work available, however we are willing to work with a contractor on a part time basis if need be, provided that work is completed by mid September. While the developers are located in South East Qld, this is a work-from-home position, and we are open to candidates from around Australia.
We are interested in hearing about your previous experience, technical ability and capability to deliver all or part of the above Project Specifics. A link to your portfolio and examples of previous work are essential. It is important that we deliver this project within the time frame above, and we would like to know how many hours you can commit to each week. We are happy to negotiate payment as a fixed price rate.
